  • ½ cup vegetable oil
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp lilac petals (edible)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the almond milk, vegetable oil, lemon juice, and lilac petals.
  4. Combine the wet and dry ingredients, stirring until just mixed.
  5. Pour the batter into a greased cake pan.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Let cool before serving.
