- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 3 large apples, peeled and sliced
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1/4 cup chopped nuts (optional)
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
- Add the softened butter and mix until crumbly.
