Instructions

  1. In a bowl, dissolve the yeast in warm milk. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes until frothy.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, and salt.
  3. Add melted butter, eggs, yeast mixture, and vanilla extract. Mix until a dough forms.
  4. Knead the dough on a floured surface until smooth.
  5. Let the dough rise in a warm place for 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
  6. Roll out the dough into a rectangle and spread with softened butter, then sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar mixture.
  7. Roll the dough tightly into a log and cut into equal pieces.
