Ingredients

  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 packet active dry yeast
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cream cheese

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine warm milk and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes.
  2. Add sugar, butter, eggs, and salt to the yeast mixture.
  3. Gradually mix in the flour until a dough forms.
  4. Knead the dough for 5-10 minutes until smooth.
  5. Let the dough rise in a warm place for 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
  6. Roll out the dough, spread softened butter, sprinkle cinnamon, and sugar.
  7. Roll the dough tightly and slice into rolls.
  8. Place the rolls in a greased pan and let rise for another 30 minutes.
  9. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 20-25 minutes.
  10. Mix powdered sugar and cream cheese to make frosting and spread over warm rolls.
