  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 8 slices turkey bacon
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
  • 1/2 cup onion, chopped
  • 1/4 cup barbecue sauce
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Season the chicken breasts with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and cook the chicken until browned on both sides.
  4. Transfer the chicken to a baking dish.
  5. In the same skillet, sauté the onions and mushrooms until soft.
  6. Place the sautéed mixture on top of the chicken, followed by turkey bacon and cheese.
  7. Drizzle barbecue sauce over the top.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes until the chicken is cooked through and the cheese is melted.
