  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 packet active dry yeast
  • 3/4 cup warm milk
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, chopped
  • 1/2 cup turkey bacon, cooked and crumbled

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix the flour, sugar, cinnamon, salt, and yeast.
  2. Add warm milk, melted butter, and the egg. Mix until a dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes.
  4. Let the dough rise in a warm place for about 1 hour.
  5. Roll out the dough into a rectangle and spread the chopped strawberries and crumbled turkey bacon evenly.
  6. Roll the dough tightly and cut into rolls.
  7. Place the rolls in a greased baking dish and allow them to rise for another 30 minutes.
  8. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F for 25-30 minutes.
  9. Allow to cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • For best results, use fresh strawberries.
  • Substitute regular bacon for turkey bacon if desired.
