A delicious and nutritious steak salad topped with crispy turkey bacon and fresh greens.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound steak
  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 4 cups mixed greens
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup red onion, sliced
  • 1/4 cup blue cheese crumbles
  • 1/4 cup balsamic vinaigrette

Instructions

  1. Cook the turkey bacon until crispy, then chop into pieces.
  2. Grill or sear the steak to preferred doneness, let it rest, then slice.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the mixed greens, cherry tomatoes, red onion, and blue cheese.
  4. Add the sliced steak and turkey bacon on top.
  5. Drizzle with balsamic vinaigrette and toss gently to combine.

Notes

  • For a lighter version, use grilled chicken instead of steak.
  • Feel free to add any other vegetables you enjoy.
