  • 1 teaspoon baking powder

  • 1 cup peach preserves

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in the vanilla.
  4. Combine the flour, baking powder, and salt in a separate bowl. Gradually add to the butter mixture, mixing until just combined.
  5. Roll tablespoons of dough into balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Make an indentation in the center of each ball using your thumb.
  7. Fill each indentation with a small amount of peach preserves.
  8. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden. Allow to cool on the baking sheet before transferring to a wire rack.
