- 12 lasagna noodles
- 1 pound ground turkey
- 8 slices turkey bacon
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 2 cups ricotta cheese
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
- In a skillet, cook the turkey bacon until crispy, then crumble and set aside.
- In the same skillet, brown the ground turkey; drain excess fat.
- Add marinara sauce, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper to the turkey; mix well.
- Spread a thin layer of the turkey mixture in the bottom of a baking dish.
- Layer three lasagna noodles over the sauce.
- Spread half of the ricotta cheese, followed by one-third of the mozzarella and half of the crumbled turkey bacon.
- Repeat layers, finishing with noodles, the remaining sauce, and top with the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
- Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes.
- Remove foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until bubbly and golden.
- Let cool for 10 minutes before serving.
Notes
- For a vegetarian version, substitute ground turkey with mushrooms or lentils.
- For extra flavor, add sautéed onions and peppers.
