Parmesan Garlic Bacon Cheeseburger Lasagna

A delicious twist on a classic lasagna featuring turkey bacon and Parmesan garlic flavor.

  • 12 lasagna noodles
  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 8 slices turkey bacon
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  3. In a skillet, cook the turkey bacon until crispy, then crumble and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, brown the ground turkey; drain excess fat.
  5. Add marinara sauce, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper to the turkey; mix well.
  6. Spread a thin layer of the turkey mixture in the bottom of a baking dish.
  7. Layer three lasagna noodles over the sauce.
  8. Spread half of the ricotta cheese, followed by one-third of the mozzarella and half of the crumbled turkey bacon.
  9. Repeat layers, finishing with noodles, the remaining sauce, and top with the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
  10. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes.
  11. Remove foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until bubbly and golden.
  12. Let cool for 10 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • For a vegetarian version, substitute ground turkey with mushrooms or lentils.
  • For extra flavor, add sautéed onions and peppers.
