- 1 pound chicken thighs
- 2 cups jasmine rice
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 2 tablespoons shawarma spice mix
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 red bell pepper, diced
- 1 lemon, juiced
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
- Add diced onion, red bell pepper, and garlic, sauté until softened.
- Stir in shawarma spice mix and cook for 1 minute.
- Add chicken thighs and brown on both sides.
