A delicious and easy-to-make Mongolian Beef recipe that will impress your family and friends.

  • 1 pound flank steak
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup soy sauce
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • Green onions, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Slice the flank steak against the grain into thin strips.
  2. In a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the flank steak and cook until browned.
  4. Remove the steak and set aside. In the same skillet, add garlic and ginger and sauté for a minute.
  5. Add soy sauce and brown sugar, stirring until the sugar is dissolved.
  6. Return the steak to the skillet, tossing to coat in the sauce.
  7. Cook for an additional few minutes until the sauce thickens.
  8. Serve hot, garnished with green onions.
