  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the ziti pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add ground beef and Italian sausage, cooking until browned. Drain excess fat.
  4. Stir in marinara sauce and let simmer for 10 minutes.
  5. In a separate bowl, mix ricotta cheese, eggs, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
  6. In a large baking dish, layer half of the ziti pasta, half of the meat sauce, and half of the ricotta mixture. Repeat the layers.

  8. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.
