Instant Pot Bolognese

A delicious and easy recipe for Bolognese made with beef and turkey bacon in the Instant Pot.

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 4 ounces turkey bacon, chopped
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (28 ounces) crushed tomatoes
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 pound spaghetti

Instructions

  1. Set the Instant Pot to sauté mode and add the chopped turkey bacon. Cook until crispy.
  2. Add the diced onion and minced garlic, sauté until softened.
  3. Stir in the ground beef, cooking until browned.
  4. Add the crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, oregano, basil, salt, pepper, and beef broth.
  5. Seal the Instant Pot and set it to high pressure for 10 minutes.
  6. Once done, do a quick release and stir in the spaghetti.
  7. Serve hot and enjoy your meal!

Notes

  • Add grated Parmesan cheese on top for extra flavor.
  • Pair with garlic bread for a complete meal.
