A delicious side dish featuring honey glazed carrots and green beans with the delightful flavor of turkey bacon.

  • 2 cups carrots, sliced
  • 2 cups green beans, trimmed
  • 4 slices turkey bacon, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a skillet, cook the chopped turkey bacon over medium heat until crispy.
  2. Remove the bacon and set aside, leaving the drippings in the pan.
  3. Add the sliced carrots and green beans to the skillet, sautéing for about 5 minutes.
  4. Stir in the honey and olive oil, mixing well to coat the vegetables.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Continue to cook for another 5-7 minutes until the vegetables are tender.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with the crispy turkey bacon.

Notes

  • For added flavor, you can sprinkle some sesame seeds on top before serving.
  • This dish can easily be doubled for larger gatherings.
