Herb Roasted Chicken in Creamy White Sauce with Mushroom and Potatoes: An Incredible Ultimate Recipe

  • 1 whole chicken
  • 2 cups mushrooms, sliced
  • 4 medium potatoes, cubed
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Season the chicken with salt, pepper, thyme, and rosemary.
  3. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and brown the chicken on all sides.
  4. Remove chicken and set aside. In the same skillet, add mushrooms and garlic, sauté until mushrooms are tender.
  5. Add potatoes to the skillet and mix in the heavy cream.
  6. Place the chicken on top of the potatoes and mushroom mixture.
  7. Bake in the oven for about 1 hour, or until the chicken is cooked through.
  8. Let it rest for a few minutes before serving.

  • For extra flavor, marinate the chicken overnight.
