A comforting and delicious dish featuring juicy hamburger steaks smothered in a creamy dill sauce.

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons fresh dill, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper until well combined. Form into patties.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook patties for about 5 minutes on each side until browned and cooked through.
  3. Remove patties from the skillet and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, pour in heavy cream, add fresh dill and Worcestershire sauce, and stir. Bring to a simmer.
  5. Add the patties back to the skillet, coating them in the creamy sauce. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  6. Serve hot with your choice of sides.

Notes

  • For added flavor, consider adding some sautéed onions on top before serving.
  • This dish pairs nicely with mashed potatoes or rice.
