  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 1 medium green bell pepper, sliced
  • 4 slices provolone cheese
  • 4 hoagie rolls
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the sliced onion and green bell pepper, cooking until they’re soft.
  3. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks.
  4. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Once the beef is cooked, divide the mixture into four portions in the skillet and place a slice of provolone cheese on each portion.
  6. Cover the skillet to melt the cheese.
  7. Place the cheesy beef mixture into hoagie rolls and serve hot.
