This Ground Beef and Potatoes Casserole is the perfect dish for a cozy family dinner. It’s easy to make, filling, and full of flavor!

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 4 cups potatoes, sliced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
  3. Add onion and garlic to the skillet, cooking until onion is translucent.
  4. Layer half of the potatoes in a greased casserole dish.
  5. Spread the beef mixture over the potatoes, season with salt and pepper.
  6. Add the remaining potatoes on top, then pour beef broth over the entire dish.
  7. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 45 minutes.
  8. Remove foil, sprinkle cheese on top, and bake for an additional 15 minutes or until cheese is bubbly and golden.
