  • 1 pound carrots, peeled and sliced
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 4 strips turkey bacon, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a skillet, cook the turkey bacon until crispy. Remove and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, add butter and let it melt.
  3. Add the sliced carrots and sauté for about 5 minutes.
  4. Stir in brown sugar and honey, then cover to cook until carrots are tender.
  5. Return the bacon to the skillet, mix well, and season with salt and pepper.
  6. Serve warm.

Notes

  • For added flavor, use maple syrup instead of honey.
  • Honey can be omitted for a sugar-free option.
