Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, melt butter and stir in sugar.
  3. Add eggs and mix well. Stir in vanilla.
  4. Mix in flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt until combined.
  5. Spread the brownie batter in a greased pan and bake for 20 minutes.
  6. In another bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth.
  7. Gradually add powdered sugar and mix until well combined.
  8. Add eggs and vanilla extract, blending until smooth.
  9. Pour cream cheese mixture over the baked brownie layer.
  10. Bake for an additional 40 minutes or until set.
