Instructions

  1. In a bowl, separate the egg whites from the yolks.
  2. In the bowl with the yolks, add sugar, milk, and vanilla extract, whisk until smooth.
  3. Fold in the sifted cake flour and baking powder.
  4. In another bowl, beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form.
  5. Gently fold the egg whites into the yolk mixture until just combined.
  6. Heat a non-stick skillet over low heat and melt the butter.
  7. Pour the batter into the skillet, cover, and cook for about 4-5 minutes until the bottom is golden.
  8. Flip and cook for another 4-5 minutes, or until cooked through.
  9. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
