  • 1 cup pastina
  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup carrots, diced
  • 1 cup celery, diced
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian herbs
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Add the turkey bacon and cook until crispy. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same pot, add onion, garlic, carrots, and celery. Sauté until softened.
  4. Add the chicken broth and bring to a boil.
  5. Add the pastina and cook according to package instructions.
  6. Stir in the cooked turkey bacon.
  7. Season with Italian herbs, salt, and pepper.
