  • 1 pound fresh white fish
  • 1 cup cornmeal
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • 1 cup shredded cabbage
  • 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
  • 8 small corn tortillas

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine cornmeal, paprika, garlic powder, and salt.
  3. Dip fish fillets in the mixture and place on a baking sheet.
  4. Bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
  5. In another bowl, mix mayonnaise, lime juice, cabbage, and cilantro to make the slaw.
  6. Warm tortillas in a skillet.
  7. Assemble the tacos by placing fish and slaw in each tortilla.

Notes

  • For extra heat, add sliced jalapeños to the tacos.
  • Great for a family dinner or casual gathering.
