Ingredients

  • 8 ounces pasta of choice
  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 cups crushed tomatoes
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  2. In a pan, cook turkey bacon until crispy. Remove, chop, and set aside.
  3. In the same pan, add olive oil and sauté garlic powder, onion powder, and crushed tomatoes.
  4. Stir in heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
  5. Add cooked pasta, turkey bacon, dried basil, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  6. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese before serving.

Notes

  • For a vegetarian option, omit turkey bacon and substitute with mushrooms.
