  • 8 ounces elbow macaroni
  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 4 slices turkey bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 2 cups sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the macaroni according to package instructions and drain.
  3. In a large saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in the flour and cook for 1 minute.
  4. Gradually whisk in the milk and heavy cream, continuing to whisk until smooth and thickened.
  5. Remove from heat and stir in the cheese, salt, pepper, and garlic powder until melted.
  6. Add the cooked macaroni, chicken, and turkey bacon to the cheese sauce. Stir to combine.
  7. Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish and bake for 25-30 minutes or until bubbly and golden.
