  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup chopped hazelnuts
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, cream the butter with the granulated and brown sugars until light and fluffy.
  4. Beat in the vanilla and egg until well combined.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined.
  6. Fold in the hazelnuts and chocolate chips.
  7. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until set.
  9. Allow to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
