  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 sheet of puff pastry
  • 4 ounces goat cheese
  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Slice the onions thinly and sauté in olive oil over medium heat until caramelized, about 20 minutes.
  3. Roll out the puff pastry and cut into squares.
  4. Place the pastry on a baking sheet and top each square with caramelized onions and crumbled goat cheese.
  5. Brush the edges with beaten egg.
