- 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup caramel sauce
- ¼ cup chopped nuts (optional)
- Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C).
- In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs and melted butter. Press into the bottom of a springform pan.
- In another bowl, beat together sugar and cream cheese until smooth. Add eggs and vanilla, and mix until well combined.
- Fold in chocolate chips and pour the mixture over the crust.
- Bake for 45 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool for 10 minutes.
- Drizzle caramel sauce over the cheesecake and sprinkle with nuts if desired.
- Refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.
