  • 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup caramel sauce
  • ¼ cup chopped nuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs and melted butter. Press into the bottom of a springform pan.
  3. In another bowl, beat together sugar and cream cheese until smooth. Add eggs and vanilla, and mix until well combined.
  4. Fold in chocolate chips and pour the mixture over the crust.
  5. Bake for 45 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool for 10 minutes.
  6. Drizzle caramel sauce over the cheesecake and sprinkle with nuts if desired.
  7. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, use dark chocolate chips.
  • Make sure the cream cheese is at room temperature for easier mixing.
