1 cup unsalted butter, softened
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup granulated sugar
2 large eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup cocoa powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 cups chocolate chips
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla.
Combine the flour, cocoa, baking soda, and salt; gradually add to the creamed mixture.
Fold in the chocolate chips.
Drop by rounded tablespoons onto ungreased baking sheets.
Bake for 10 to 12 minutes in the preheated oven. Allow cookies to cool on baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.
