These chewy homemade blueberry cookies are a delightful treat that combines the sweet and tangy flavor of fresh blueberries with a soft, buttery cookie base.

  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups fresh blueberries

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in vanilla.
  4. Combine flour, baking soda, and salt and slowly blend into the creamed mixture.
  5. Gently fold in the blueberries.
  6. Drop by rounded tablespoon onto ungreased cookie sheets.
  7. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until lightly browned.
  8. Allow to cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks.
