  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 1 tablespoon blackening seasoning
  • 8 ounces fettuccine pasta
  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the fettuccine according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  2. Season chicken breasts with blackening seasoning on both sides.
  3. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Cook the seasoned chicken for 6-7 minutes on each side until cooked through. Remove from skillet and let rest.
  4. In the same skillet, add turkey bacon and cook until crisp; remove and crumble.
  5. Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for 1 minute.
  6. Pour in heavy cream, stirring to combine. Bring to a simmer and then add parmesan cheese, stirring until melted.
  7. Slice the cooked chicken and add it along with fettuccine and crumbled bacon to the sauce. Toss until well combined.
  8. Season with salt and black pepper to taste; serve hot.
