  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a muffin tin.
  2. In a mixing bowl, mash the bananas with a fork until smooth.
  3. Stir in the melted butter until well combined.
  4. Add the sugar, egg, and vanilla, and mix until combined.
  5. Sprinkle the baking soda and salt over the mixture and stir to incorporate.
  6. Gently fold in the flour and chocolate chips until just combined.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared muffin tin, filling each cup about two-thirds full.
  8. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Let cool for a few minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
