3 medium apples
1/2 cup unsalted butter
1 cup brown sugar
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Peel, core, and slice the apples.
In a skillet, melt butter and brown sugar until bubbly. Add apples and cook for about 5 minutes.
Transfer the apple mixture to a greased cake pan.
In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
In another bowl, beat eggs and then add sugar, vanilla, and milk.
Combine dry and wet ingredients.
