Apple Bread is a delightful fall treat that combines the sweetness of apples with a moist, tender bread.

  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups peeled and diced apples

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5 inch loaf pan.
  2. In a bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, cream the butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add in the eggs and vanilla extract, mixing well.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
  6. Fold in the diced apples.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
  8. Bake for 60-70 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Let it cool for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
